We all know Breathe Right strips by now. They have become pretty ubiquitous since their rise to fame via the noses of NFL linebackers. Recently though they have undergone a much needed and appreciated, design change that has been dubber Breathe Right Advanced.
I snore and I also suffer from horrible seasonal allergies which can exacerbate the snoring. For a while now, Breathe Right strips have helped by opening up my nasal passages allowing me to breathe easier and without drugs.
But long standing question with me has been “Why do they look like Band-Aids?”. No one’s skin is that color and it doesn’t blend in. Anyone can see you have a bandage across your nose. Breathe Right Advanced is clear plastic instead and it’s the shape of a horizontally stretched “X”. People can still see it, the new design is a little thicker but it’s an improvement.
Another improvement is that they are more rigid, plastic rather than the traditional Breathe Right strips which are fabric. But too much so. I’m not sure if it’s the rigidity or if there is less adhesive but rarely do I wake up with the Advanced still on my nose. They just need to fix that one issue and it’s perfect.
